BrownX Introduces New Referral and Reward Program for Courier Users in Edo - THISDAYLIVE

Published 1 day ago2 minute read

To deepen user engagement and boost delivery adoption across Edo State, logistics company BrownX has introduced a new referral and incentive programme for individual customers and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs).

The initiative, which officially launched this week, offers financial rewards to users who refer new customers or complete the highest number of delivery orders during the campaign period.

The move comes as local courier services compete for market share amid increasing demand for reliable logistics, particularly in growing commercial hubs such as Benin City, Ekpoma, Uromi, and Auchi.

According to the company, the programme will award N50,000 to the individual with the most successful referrals by the end of the campaign.

SMEs stand to win N100,000 if they record the highest number of completed orders within the same timeframe.

“We designed this to encourage loyalty while expanding our network,” a company representative said. “It’s a way to reward the customers and businesses who keep our operations moving.”

The referral system, which is open to users across all BrownX service areas, includes transparent performance tracking. Winners are expected to be announced publicly across the company’s platforms.

Industry observers say initiatives like this could help smaller logistics firms build customer communities while creating visibility in underserved areas.

With growing reliance on delivery services by e-commerce vendors, restaurants, and other SMEs, Edo’s logistics market has become increasingly competitive.

BrownX, founded in Benin City, has gained traction with features like real-time delivery tracking and express courier services. The company also ranks prominently in local online searches for delivery-related keywords, suggesting a strong digital presence.

As the referral campaign unfolds, it remains to be seen whether such incentive models will drive lasting growth or serve primarily as short-term engagement boosts.

For BrownX, it is focused on combining community outreach with commercial strategy.
