Braydon Hawthorne Commits to Kentucky

Braydon Hawthorne has officially committed to Kentucky for the 2025 class, marking a significant addition to their roster. Ranked No. 81 in the ESPN 100, Hawthorne's decision underscores his strong connection with the Kentucky coaching staff and his lifelong affinity for the program.
"I have a great relationship with Coach Pope and the staff," Hawthorne stated, emphasizing the personal rapport he has developed. "We have had many conversations about basketball and life. I have been a lifelong Kentucky fan. This means everything to me." His enthusiasm highlights the importance of the commitment, solidifying his place within the Kentucky basketball community.
Prior to choosing Kentucky, Hawthorne had initially committed to West Virginia. However, following Darian DeVries' departure for Indiana, Hawthorne re-evaluated his options and re-opened his recruitment. This decision ultimately paved the way for his commitment to Kentucky, adding another ESPN 100 prospect to their 2025 class. With Hawthorne on board, Kentucky's 2025 class now boasts three ESPN 100 prospects.
