and have their sights set on to appear in Ocean’s Fourteen and are schmoozing the actress with the hopes she will sign on the dotted line to reprise her role, sources tell In Touch exclusively.

The two A-listers teased they had a “really good script” for a new installment of the heist movie franchise in late 2024. Now, insiders say they have been determined to persuade their pal Sandra, 60, to “come out of retirement and join in the fun with them — whilst coining a massive $20 million payday in the process!”

Sandra notably portrayed Debbie Ocean, the sister of heist team leader, Danny Ocean (George’s character), in 2018’s Ocean’s Eight. Brad, 61, appeared as Rusty Ryan in 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven along with George, 63, and like his costar, also reprised his role in 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen.

“Two years ago, Brad and George were pretty much done with the Ocean’s franchise, ready to totally hand it off to , and [Austin Powers director] . But then Barbie happened, Ryan and Margot got permanent A-list status and got pulled in a million directions,” a source close to the franchise’s brain trust revealed about what transpired.

Insiders said that chain of events led George to “pick up the pieces and get a new movie going” with a fresh plot and a cast chock-full of talented stars.

“They want to make the Avengers of heist movies and bring in the great manes from the history of this franchise, especially because there are plenty of vacancies because of the passing of series veterans Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner and the retirement of memorable Ocean’s Twelve guest star ,” spilled the tipsters.

The sources tell In Touch that Brad and George are not only going after Sandra, but would also love to lock in fellow franchise legends, Don Cheadle and Casey Affleck. Sandra announced in 2022 that she was taking a hiatus from acting.

“They want everybody they can afford back in the new movie, but Sandra is the big fish and as she finally gets back into studio movies they’re competing with her further-along Practical Magic sequel for Sandra’s time,” sources say. “But keep in mind Brad and George want this to happen and Brad and Sandra have already made two movies [The Lost City and Bullet Train] together this decade.”

It seems the feelings are mutual for Sandra as insiders add, “She loves that guy and trusts him to have her back.”

“But Brad and George desperately need this to work to prove their global star power and they need all the help they can get. The good news for Sandra is they’re more than willing to overpay her for her time. They want this movie in cinemas by Christmas next year at the latest!”

George told E! News in September 2024 that several stars have checked out the new script and already gave it their seal of approval, dishing, “Everyone’s read it and ready to do it.”
