Top ranked Kortrijk (21-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of ninth ranked Antwerp Giants on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by
Antwerp Giants 101-100. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Kortrijk. Strangely Kortrijk outrebounded Antwerp 43-30 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Elias Lasisi (191-1992) fired 24 points for the winners. American forward Clarence Daniels (198-2000, college: UNH) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. American guard John Newman III (196-1999, college: Cincinnati) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Antwerp (15-11) moved-up to eighth place. Kortrijk at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Antwerp are looking forward to face Leeuwarden (#12) at home in the next round. Kortrijk will play against Limburg (#4) and is hoping to win this game.Important game to mention about took place in Brussels. Fifth ranked Circus Brussels (17-9) saved a 1-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Limburg United (17-9) 73-72 in the game for the fourth place. Alexandre Libert contributed with 19 points for the winners. Jarne Lesuisse (190-2000) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for Limburg. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Brussels moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Limburg. Brussels will play against higher ranked Mechelen (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Limburg will play against Groningen and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Spirou Charleroi's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Njegos Sikiras responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Charleroi (16-11) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Den Bosch. Aalst lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Charleroi will meet at home Den Helder (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aalst will play against Feyenoord in Rotterdam and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 28 Oostende was defeated by Union Mons in Jemappes 78-69. Zwolle beat Den Helder at home 96-90.
