Hull City have appointed Bosnian head coach Sergej Jakirovic to replace Ruben Selles.
The Tigers parted company with the former Reading boss despite guiding them to Championship safety on the final day of the season. After a long wait, they have now confirmed Jakirovic as his successor.

The 48-year-old has signed a two-year deal at the MKM Stadium, with the option of a further year, and will leave Kayserispor to take up the post.
Jakirovic impressed by keeping the Turkish side in the top flight having looked destined to go down. The club sat five points adrift in the Süper Lig relegation zone when he took charge.
However, Jakirović overturned the deficit by helping the team take 29 points in 17 games, comfortably guiding them to safety and a 13th-place finish.
“After a thorough and extensive recruitment process alongside Mustafa Yokes, Jared Dublin and Martin Hodge, we are delighted to secure the services of Sergej," Owen Acun Ilicali said on the appointment.

“We believe in the football that he will bring to the MKM Stadium for us and importantly, he has proven himself to be a winner throughout his career.
“My dream for our club has never changed from the first day I took over, and I believe in Sergej as we look forward to the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign together as one family.”
Despite Hull's appointment, there remains three vacancies open in the Championship. Middlesbrough and Bristol City are both looking for new head coaches after Michael Carrick was sacked and Liam Manning left to join Norwich City.
Queens Park Rangers are also yet to resolve Marti Cifuentes' situation. The Spaniard is currently on gardening leave whilst nobody has been appointed as his successor yet.
There remains uncertainty over the future of Danny Rohl at Sheffield Wednesday, who are still yet to pay their players for May. Leicester City are also expected to part company with Ruud van Nistelrooy and may face a points deduction before the season starts.
