Nollywood actress Bisola Aiyeola has kept her promise of sharing a video of her daughter receiving her first phone.

Kemi Filani reported two days ago that 6, Bisola had gifted her mini-me her first phone to celebrate her daughter’s 16th birthday.

Now, taking to her Instagram page, she shared a video of when her daughter received her phone. The 16 years old was captured shedding tears as she unboxed her new phone.

Bisola, however, stated that she is yet to get a SIM card for her daughter as she declared herself the mother of the year.

Last year, in an interview with Maria Chike, Bisola opened up on the judgment she received for her strict parenting skills. She revealed that people felt she was being overprotective by not allowing her daughter to use a phone until she was 16. Aiyeola recalled an incident when she caught her daughter opening a smart chat account and had to discipline her.

In a recent interview, Bisola recounted how her mother stood by her during her pregnancy. She admitted that her mother was emotional and sad when she learned of her pregnancy, but she kept to her word of sticking by her side.

Back in 2022, Bisola opened up on the challenges of being a single mother and how her wedding didn’t hold after the marriage proposal. She said nursing her baby was a huge challenge as she fed her with garri and used her mom’s old scarves, gentle, iro and Buba, as diapers.
