Veteran gospel singer Betty and her daughter Sky have proved that parent-child conversations can still be fun and impactful with proper communication.

The singer joined her daughter on her YouTube channel where they talked about candid things like their blended family, having boyfriends and how she hopes to be mothered.
Bayo who married her boyfriend Tash in 2021, was curious to know if she was feeling left out with how their family is set up.
She also wanted to know if her soon-to-be 13-year-old daughter was having any challenges because she now has two fathers.
Bayo was previously married to renowned preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari and together, they have two kids.
"Does being in a blended family affect you in any way like you having two dads and you are going to have two mums soon, does it affect you in anyway?" asked the singer.
Her daughter responded:
"No. It doesn't. But when it comes to events like Father's Day, I don't know what to do. When people are dissing me, they have to include it. Or when they want to make me feel bad. But it is not something everybody knows about. I don't think my friends know I have two dads. The advantage of having two dads is that one pays for this the other pays for that. If I want something I get both options. When it comes to PTC - Parents-Teachers-Conference I don't know who to bring."

In a different report, Kanyari recorded a video of his kids talking about TikToker Kawira and why they do not want her as their stepmum.
The pastor's son vowed to never let his dad marry the TikToker because he thinks Kawira is only after his dad's money.
He also advised his father to emulate other preachers by finding a good woman to marry and build a family with.
