Clear your calendar and polish those sunnies - Dublin City centre is about to become your ultimate summer catwalk, and that includes you.

From July 5, the capital’s most iconic streets will transform into open-air catwalks as Style in the City struts into town, turning your Saturday stroll into a runway ready experience.

Brought to life by Dublin Town in partnership with Dublin City Council, Style in the City is an eight-week celebration of Irish fashion, beauty, and creativity.

Each Saturday throughout July and August, Grafton Street and Henry Street will alternate as hosts for a series of free events that promise to bring serious sparkle to your summer.

Picture this: live fashion shows showcasing the latest looks from your favourite high-street and boutique retailers, expert styling tips, beauty demos that are actually useful, and DJs dropping summer bangers while you shop. Oh - and glam makeovers happening right there on the street? Yes please!

It all kicks off on Saturday, July 5 on Henry Street from 1 to 5pm, and continues every weekend, rotating between Henry and Grafton until the end of August.

Whether you’re on the hunt for a new season wardrobe, ready to treat yourself to a beauty pick-me-up, or just fancy soaking up the buzz of a city in full celebration mode, this is the excuse you’ve been waiting for.

And there’s real support behind the sparkle. 'This gives Dubliners the perfect excuse to shop and socialise in the city centre every weekend,' said Lord Mayor Ray McAdam.

And she’s not wrong, between the fashion, the music and feel-good energy, this is the summer the city becomes your personal style playground.
