'Bangalore has a port now, Pakistanis are visionary': Netizens mock flood-hit Bengaluru after heavy rain
ET OnlineSai Layout in Horamavu was one of the worst-affected areas, with streets submerged under 4-5 feet of water. The flooding caused major inconvenience to residents, and videos circulating online showed people wading through the water. In NC Colony on Tannery Road, water entered homes following the downpour.
Waterlogging led to massive traffic disruptions across the city. In areas like Panathur S Cross, Domlur flyover’s upper ramp, and Koramangala, several vehicles broke down in the flooded streets. Commuters were seen pushing their vehicles through knee-deep water as traffic slowed to a crawl.
Social media platforms were filled with images and videos of flooded streets. Several users criticised the government for failing to address the recurring issue of waterlogging.
