Kenyan musician Kevin Bahati has once again swept his wife Diana Marua off her feet, sparking an outpouring of reactions from fans and the public.

The couple, who have been together for 8 years, celebrated their love in grand fashion with a heartfelt proposal; the second one in their relationship.

In June 2023, Bahati had proposed to Diana in a romantic setup on a serene water body, promising a grand wedding, however, the wedding never came.

On the day of the proposal, Bahati and Diana stepped out in matching outfits. Diana stunned in a red figure-hugging gown, while Bahati complemented her in a striking red and black suit.

The romantic moment was set against a backdrop of love, with Bahati having already surprised her with 5 gifts celebrating their eight years of love, this being the 6th.

Bahati teased her, saying it was something she had long been waiting for. He led Diana to a high-end restaurant in Kilimani, which he had rented out exclusively for the two of them.

At the hotel, Diana was greeted with a serenade by a singer and the sight of a huge heart-shaped figure adorned with the words "Better Together".

The restaurant was beautifully decorated with roses and candles, creating a dreamy atmosphere for the couple to enjoy a private dinner.

They sat down, they engaged in a deep conversation about their journey together, with Diana expressing her hopes of elevating their relationship, even considering moving into a new house, and asking Bahati to marry her in 2025.

Bahati, however, had more surprises waiting. He presented Diana with four gift boxes containing expensive jewellery, including earrings, a necklace, and a watch.

However, the biggest surprise was yet to come. Bahati got down on one knee and poured his heart out.

"I want you to know that over the last 8 years, you are still the one I love. I know we've been through ups and downs, but I want to thank you for your commitment and persistence. I want to give you the wedding you've been waiting for," Bahati said.

As Bahati proposed once again, Diana could barely hold back her tears.

"Yes, baby. I'll marry you right now," she exclaimed, overwhelmed with emotion. "I will love you now, today, tomorrow, and forever," she said.

Bahati then slid an expensive, dazzling engagement ring onto her finger, promising her that the events of the day were leading up to an even bigger event on March 1, which seems set to be their wedding.

Fans were left wondering why the couple had waited so long to make this official, but their heartfelt commitment only seemed to deepen their admiration for the couple’s enduring love.

Diana later took to Instagram to share her excitement about the upcoming wedding, writing:

"The sound of the wedding bells, cheers and celebrations are so close. I'm getting all kinds of beautiful ideas of how I want my wedding day to look like. From my gown, to seeing my babies usher my way in, and finally walking down the aisle to give a lifetime commitment to the one that God handpicked for me."

On Valentine's Day, Bahati showered Diana with gifts, including cash.

He surprised her during a romantic date in the middle of the water, placing bundles of cash on the table.

The musician shared that the total amount was KSh 5 million, with an additional KSh 3 million transferred directly to her account.
