An interesting game for Gunners Oberwart (7-3) which hosted in Oberwart their biggest opponent Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (6-4). First ranked
Gunners Oberwart managed to get a 4-point victory 82-78. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Oberwart looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Robert Allen (206-2000, college: N.Texas, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Ziggy Reid (198-2000, college: YSU, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 12 points for the winners. The former international guard Daniel Friedrich (181-1992) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and DeVon Cooper chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Benjamin Blazevic (204-1995) responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Dukes' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gmunden moved-up to second place, which they share with Wels. Klosterneuburg at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost.
The game in Graz supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Arkadia Lions (4-6) played at the court of 6th ranked UBSC Graz (2-8). Arkadia Lions smashed UBSC Graz 88-51 on Sunday. American players dominated also this game. Cedric Russell notched 16 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 20 points by Greg Johnson did not help to save the game for UBSC Graz. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Arkadia Lions have a solid three-game winning streak. Traiskirchen maintains fifth position with 4-6 record. UBSC Graz lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost.
In the last two games of round 10 Kapfenberg beat Furstenfeld on the road 93-77. St.Poelten was destroyed by BBC Nord on its own court 66-90.
