The athletic trainer will be responsible for the development and support of the Youth National Teams and all athletic training practice across U.S. Soccer YNT. The individual will commit to the Sports Medicine department’s mission and strategy to maximize performance across all sport development programs at U.S. Soccer. Working with the Sports Medicine team, they will contribute to the development and delivery of world-class athletic training support to the Youth National Teams (YNT).

Requirements

    • Passion for soccer
    • Proficient in managing and executing emergency medical care best practice
    • Advanced education in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques
    • Advanced certification/experience in applied movement analysis and biomechanics (AFS or related)
    • Experience working in collaboration with coaches and other support staff
    • Proven track record in delivering world-class medical provision to elite players
    • Vast knowledge and expertise of medical modalities, equipment, and technology
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
    • Thorough institutional knowledge of U.S. Soccer’s mission, goals, technical plan, policies, practices, and procedures
    • Previous experience with a club/academy or national team
