'Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?'

Published 2 months ago3 minute read

If you grew up with Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? like I did, you are going to get a kick out of the Prime Video spin-off, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, hosted by none other than Chiefs star and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The series teams a contestant up with a selection of celebs, who they enlist assistance from to answer elementary-level questions, culminating in a final sixth grade-level question. Stars who have put their smarts to the test this season include Nikki Glaser, Lala Kent, and Ron Finches.

When people tell you that Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, and Julianne Nicholson's new Hulu show, Paradise, has a wild twist at the end of Episode 1, they are not overexaggerating. This show, marketed as a drama-mystery surrounding the death of President Cal Bradford (Marsden) and an agent with the Secret Service who is suspected of killing him... Read more

Yes, Prime Target is a drama largely about math, but luckily, the viewer doesn't need to know much about math to follow the show; it doesn't even try to make... Read more

The Shining Vale has already been canceled on Starz, but that doesn't mean the horror comedy series is not worth a watch if you're looking for something new to watch. Courtney Cox stars as bestselling author Pat Phelps, who moves to Connecticut with her family for a fresh start after her affair... Read more

January is peak reality TV season. The Bachelor is back for another round of drama on ABC, new episodes of The Traitors and Love Island: All Stars are on Peacock, and a new season of Netflix's Love Is Blind is just around the corner. Adding to the surplus of sensational content is the ABC debut of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Originally... Read more

The Saturday Night Live movie, aka Saturday Night, is now streaming on Netflix. If you're a comedy nerd, it's an undeniably enjoyable (though not entirely accurate) dramatization of the chaotic premiere of arguably the most influential comedy show of modern times, aka the 1975 premiere episode of Saturday Night Live. Yes, director Jason Reitman... Read more

It's hard to believe that Ronald D. Moore's reboot of Battlestar Galactica might officially be considered a relic of a past age, but it's still a damn fine television series worth revisiting. Set in the aftermath of a calamitous attack on humanity, in which a race of robots known as cylons extinguished everyone save for about 50,000 unlucky souls, ... Read more
