Anthony Edwards Fighting Ex Over What State They Hooked Up In | In Touch Weekly
NBA star and his ex . are going back and forth in court over what state they had sex to conceive their son, as they battle it out in court over child support, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the Minnesota Timberwolves star asked a judge to ignore the recent plea by Ally (real name: Alexandria Descroches) to have the paternity and child support battle heard in New York court.
Anthony and Ally share a son, born in 2023. On March 13, Ally filed a petition in New York asking for Anthony to be named the father and child support to be set.
The NBA star filed a separate petition on March 21 in Georgia to establish himself as the child’s father and child support. He did not ask for visitation or custody.
In his filing, Anthony argued that the child was conceived and born in Georgia.
He said Alexandria moved to New York months after giving birth.
He argued that Georgia was the proper state to hear the case.

As In Touch first reported, last month, Ally demanded Anthony’s Georgia case be thrown out. She claimed she had been living in New York since early 2024.
Her lawyer noted, “The child had not resided in Georgia for at least six consecutive months, and [Ally] and child had been residing in New York for over a year.”
Ally claimed she hung out with Anthony in various states during their relationship.
“All interactions between [Anthony] and [Ally] did not take place in Georgia. [Anthony] and [Ally] had interactions in Minnesota during the time of conception when [Anthony] flew [Ally] out there to be with him.”
“There is no evidence that the child was conceived in Georgia — in fact, the facts suggest that conception likely occurred while [Anthony] was flying [Ally] to and from Minnesota,” the response added.
In his newly filed response, obtained by In Touch, Anthony scoffed at Ally’s claims made in her plea to dismiss his lawsuit.
His lawyer said, “The Mother’s Motion to Dismiss rests upon a fundamental misreading of the pleadings and a misapplication of relevant law and should be denied. This is not a custody or visitation action.”
Anthony explained his case only seeks to establish paternity and child support. He said the case at hand is not seeking custody or visitation.
Anthony said he had sex in Georgia around January 2023, which resulted in the conception of the minor child.

“Throughout her pregnancy, the mother resided in Georgia and received all prenatal care in the state.”
The NBA star said he also participated in two formal mediations with Ally in late 2023 and early 2024.
He said both took place in Georgia. In his filing, Anthony revealed Ally recently dismissed the child support case she brought in New York on April 21.
He claimed he had Ally served with legal docs for his case in New York while she was driving a Georgia-registered BMW.
His lawyer added, “The Father is a resident of Fulton County, Georgia. Though he maintains a secondary residence in Minnesota due to his employment with the Minnesota Timberwolves, he was born in Georgia, raised in Georgia, attended college in Georgia, and owns a home in Georgia, where he spends most of his time when not in season with the NBA.”
A judge has yet to rule. Ally and her lawyer Al Hedayati, Esq. of the Hedayati Law Group, P.C., previously spoke to In Touch about the ongoing court battle.
Ally told In Touch she met Anthony in 2020. She said after learning she was pregnant with Anthony’s child, she was unsure what to do.
Ally said when she decided to have the baby she told Anthony, who she claimed told her, “Don’t be messy.”
Ally said she took that to mean keep the pregnancy quiet, which she said she did. Ally said she stayed quiet about the situation for a long time.
She also accused Anthony of never meeting their son despite her efforts.
Her attorney Mr. Hedayati told In Touch, “She is raising a child as a single mother and has an open-door policy for [Anthony] to see the child.”
Ally told In Touch she had a job and was planning to go back to school. She said she had no desire to live off of Anthony.
As In Touch first reported, Anthony is in the middle of a nasty court battle with his other ex, Ayesha Howard. The two share a daughter named Aubri Summer Howard, born in October 2023.
Ayesha and Anthony are currently fighting over whether their case will be heard in California or Georgia.
A Los Angeles judge ordered that child support should not be established in California, but Ayesha is pleading for them to reconsider the decision.
As part of her case, Ayesha submitted alleged texts showing Anthony urging her to get an abortion after she informed him of her pregnancy.
In court, Anthony told the court he is not seeking custody or visitation of Aubri and said child support is the only thing that needs to be determined.
She also submitted alleged texts that showed her confronting the NBA star about taking off his condom during sex.
