Amul Celebrates Shah Rukh Khan's MET Gala Debut

Amul, known for its topical and witty ads, has celebrated Shah Rukh Khan's debut at the MET Gala 2025 with a new poster. The poster pays tribute to the Bollywood megastar's appearance at the prestigious fashion event, which was held on Monday.

The artwork features a caricatured version of Shah Rukh Khan in his attire designed by Sabyasachi. The poster cleverly plays on the MET Gala’s 2025 theme, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ with the dress code ‘Tailored for You’, referring to SRK as “India’s Biggest Galakaar,” blending ‘Gala’ with the Hindi word for ‘artist’. The slogan “Amul – Always In Fashion” accompanies the creative.

Shah Rukh Khan's debut at the MET Gala, a global fashion spectacle, was marked by his appearance in a bespoke ensemble by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. His outfit showcased Indian elegance fused with global tailoring finesse. The floor-length coat, crafted in Tasmanian superfine wool, featured monogrammed Japanese horn buttons, hand canvassing, and a single-breasted cut with a peak collar and wide lapels. It was paired with a crepe de chine silk shirt, tailored superfine wool trousers, and a pleated satin kamarbandh, nodding to traditional Indian styling.

The focal point of the ensemble was the Bengal Tiger Head Cane, crafted in 18k gold and embellished with tourmalines, sapphires, old mine cut, and brilliant cut diamonds. This accessory served as both a visual anchor and a nod to Sabyasachi’s Bengal heritage.

Shah Rukh Khan’s presence at the MET Gala generated buzz across social media, with praise for his sartorial statement. Amul’s tribute reinforces the star’s cultural relevance, celebrating the convergence of Indian fashion, cinema, and global glamour.
