Published 9 hours ago3 minute read

Chris Paul received All-Time All-NBA First Team with the Trail Blazers in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

The Clippers have been in one of the more successful eras in franchise history over the last decade, which has produced multiple All-NBA First Teamers. However, the Clippers’ long history features some great performers from the past as well.

Here, we take a look at all the players who were named to the first-team All-NBA while playing for the Clippers.

Paul lived some of the best moments of his career when playing for the Clippers as part of the “Lob City” team that also featured Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and others. Paul was in the prime of his career between the 2011-12 and 2013-14 seasons, and that resulted in him earning three consecutive 1st-Team All-NBA nods. During that three-season stretch, Paul averaged 18.5 points, 9.8 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in 192 regular-season starts.

Paul has earned 11 All-NBA nods throughout his career and has been named an All-Star 12 times, including in five of his six seasons with the Clippers. Paul spent the 2024-25 season with the Spurs and appeared in each of the team’s 82 regular-season contests while averaging 8.8 points and 7.4 assists per contest.

McAdoo played in the NBA between the 1972-73 and 1985-86 seasons, although he wouldn’t retire from professional basketball until 1992-93. McAdoo spent the first four-and-a-half years of his career playing for the Buffalo Braves, which would eventually end up being the Clippers.

He had the best year of his career in 1974-75, averaging 34.5 points, 14.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.1 steals per game. The big man not only was named to the 1st-Team All-NBA in that season, but he was also named the MVP. McAdoo finished in the Top 2 of the MVP voting in three straight seasons as a member of the Braves between 1973-74 and 1975-76. He also earned two All-NBA nods and four All-Star berths with Buffalo.

Jordan played the first 10 years of his career with the Clippers, but he posted his best campaign in the 2015-16 season when he was named to the All-NBA 1st-Team. Jordan averaged 12.7 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game in that campaign, a year in which he was also named to the All-NBA 1st-Defensive-Team.

Jordan earned three consecutive All-NBA nods between 2015 and 2017, but this 2016 berth was his lone 1st-Team All-NBA appearance. Jordan spent the 2024-25 season with the Denver Nuggets, averaging 3.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest across 56 regular-season contests.

Leonard has earned six All-NBA nods throughout his career, but only one of his three 1st-Team All-NBA nods came as a member of the Clippers. It happened in the 2020-21 campaign, where he averaged 24.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game across 52 regular-season outings. Leonard was also named to the All-Star Game and the All-NBA 2nd-Defensive-Team in that campaign.

Leonard is a six-time All-Star and has recorded six All-NBA nods as well. Leonard played a big role in the 2024-25 season and averaged 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists across 37 regular-season contests.
