On Saturday, 24 May, Ahmednasir, nicknamed Grand Mullah, celebrated the move, a major step forward in regional development, by sharing a photo of his sleek 2023 Porsche Panamera.
Ahmednasir’s Porsche Panamera is far from your average saloon. It effortlessly fuses high performance with practicality, appealing to drivers who need family space but still crave a dose of excitement behind the wheel.
Unlike the traditional Porsche layout, the Panamera positions its engine at the front instead of the rear and can seat five passengers, including the driver.
According to Car and Driver, the entry-level Panamera comes with a turbocharged 325-horsepower V6, but those looking for more thrill can turn to the 4S AWD version, which features a 440-hp twin-turbo V6.
For even greater power, the GTS variant boasts a 473-hp twin-turbo V8. And if you're after a mix of muscle and practicality, the Sport Turismo and Turbo editions offer additional cargo space with up to 689 horsepower under the bonnet.
In line with its pedigree, the Panamera has responsive steering and optional adaptive air suspension, creating a dynamic driving experience that rivals even the sportiest luxury saloons.
The car starts from around KSh 13 million, and the price can reach KSh 18 million depending on options.
Ahmednasir’s post elicited mixed reactions on social media:
@POUNDY3130:
“There is no better companion than a fast ride. Drifting a Porsche on that sunny belt will be an experience. You will have to give me a ride to Wajir.”
@Pablos_:
“This regime has turned its male sympathisers from grown men to boys and toddlers. Pitiful.”
@JonDefChess:
“If this road is done, it's a game changer. We've turned down jobs to transport equipment numerous times. We count losses, especially during the rainy seasons when trucks have to wait to cross rivers.”
@snoopykenya:
“Bragging about driving a Porsche to that desert while people are dying for lack of water is such a diabolical joke.”
@EndaUsome:
“Nice ride.”
@Abdifatah__Omar:
“The quality of that road is very poor; it’s likely to be washed away by the first rains.”
Grand Mullah gave Kenyans a glimpse of his multi-million shilling Karen mansion during an August 2021 appearance on Churchill Show.
The grand home, which at first glance looks more like a luxury hotel, features a lush backyard with a swimming pool.
