2025 hajj: 12 states complete airlift as 25,702 pilgrims arrive S/Arabia - Daily Trust

At least, 12 states have completed the airlift of their pilgrims for the 2025 hajj pilgrimage with a total of 25,702.

According to data from NAHCON’s Commamd and Control Centre, Abuja, states that have concluded their hajj operations include Adamawa,  Lagos, Imo, Abia, Kogi, Nasarawa, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Ekiti, Ondo and Edo State.

This is just as the stated that 25,702 pilgrims are now in Saudi Arabia through 63 flights in 10 days.

Meanwhile, the Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR), a faith based Civil Society Organization (CSO) in the Hajj and Umrah industry has commended the leadership of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Airlines involved in flight operations for pilgrims and service providers in both Saudi Arabia including the pilgrims themselves for a successful handling of operations concerning intending pilgrims to Hajj 2025 from Nigeria.

IHR in a statement signed by its national coordinator, Ibrahim Muhammed, said ‘information at our disposal shows that almost everyone involved in the airlift and reception operations are up and doing, hence the successes recorded so far.
