F2 Imola GP and Formula E Tokyo E-Prix are also coming up this weekend.
F1 heads to Imola this weekend (May 16-18) for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix (GP), which kicks off the European triple-header. But that’s not all; there’s plenty more racing in store, with the F2 support series returning after a short break. Formula E, meanwhile, heads to Tokyo for its first double-header in the Japanese city.

After the opening flyaway races, the Imola GP will be the first European race of the year. With most of the teams based close by and the race kicking off another triple-header (with Imola followed by Monaco and Spain), expect to see teams bringing some significant upgrades to Imola.
In the past, the Imola GP has usually been a one-stop race. However, that could change this year, with a slight chance of rainfall on race day. Moreover, Pirelli is bringing its softest tyres for the very first time with the hopes of further spicing up the races.
McLaren is currently dominating, with Oscar Piastri leading the championship by 16 points from his teammate Lando Norris.
All F1 Imola GP sessions will be streamed live on the Fancode and F1 TV apps.
