We were only a few minutes’ drive from Lakes Regional Park and not far from the IMAG History & Science Center, which was a fun detour.

We have to give credit where credit is due. The Hampton Inn Fort Myers Downtown is one of the best cheap hotels in Ft Myers Florida. Only 20 minutes away from the airport, the location alone is hard to beat. When we were there, we were only a quick five-minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants and only 15 minutes from beautiful beaches.

Since we were on a budget, we opted for the King Room. As expected from Hampton Inn, it was clean and cozy. We loved having the essentials. Think comfy bed, 55-inch TV, mini fridge, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi. Perfect!

The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, with warm dishes, fresh pastries, pancakes, and fruit. There’s also an on-site coffee shop if you need an extra caffeine boost. Overall, it was a solid stay. Comfortable, well-located, and great value.

We’re glad we decided to stay at The Hibiscus House. It was like we discovered a little slice of paradise right in the middle of Fort Myers.
