The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) North Central has felicitated with Alhaji Nasiru Gawuna on his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Executive Chairman of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message signed by the YSFON Zonal Secretary , Alhaji Mohammed Haruna and made available to our correspondent described the appointment as a welcome development.
Gawuna, the incumbent National President of YSFON and immediate past Deputy Governor of Kano state has impacted positively on the people of his state and the youth throughout the country through sports.
Mohammed expressed confidence that with the in-depth knowledge and experience of Alhaji Gawuna over the years the sector is about to witness tremendous improvement.
“Your appointment is a testament of your unwavering commitment for excellence in the nation’s development. As a body, we are quite optimistic in your ability to develop the sector and make remarkable impact in the eco-system”
