The forthcoming Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA) 2025 has continued to gather support from stakeholders within and out of the sports industry, with the Ministry of Youth Development being the latest to key into the Games’ objectives, and promising significant support and partnerships.

The ministry through its Minister of State, Ayodele Olawande, at the weekend, reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to youth development as a catalyst for national advancement.

Speaking while receiving the prime consultant for the NUGA Games and Chairman, Royal CBS Group, Mr Khalifah Onu and his team, Olawande affirmed the ministry’s commitment to the event scheduled to hold at the University of Jos, Plateau State, from November 5 to 16.

Reacting to the ministry’s endorsement and willingness to participate in the games, Onu said the government support was crucial to the success of the games.

He also commended the Director General, City Boyz International, Tosin Shoga, for his commitment and support towards ensuring that the games not only succeed, but also align with the current administration’s vision of youth empowerment through sports.
