You are a blessing to us all, Fani-Kayode celebrates ex-lover Precious Chikwendu on birthday
Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has penned a glowing birthday tribute to his ex-partner, Precious Chikwendu, calling her a “blessing” to their family and hailing her resilience and achievements.
The politician shared a heartfelt message on on Sunday alongside a picture of the former beauty queen to celebrate her birthday, which coincides with the birthday of their triplet sons — Ragnar, Aiden, and Liam.
“Happy birthday Snowhite!” he began.
“You are such a blessing to our four beautiful sons and indeed to us all. Today is an even greater blessing of a day because you are sharing your birthday with our wonderful triplets Ragnar, Aiden and Liam. What a joy and blessing of a day 25th of May is for us all!”
Fani-Kayode praised Chikwendu’s growth and resilience over the years, calling her a “real tigress” and a “woman of substance.”
“You have made us proud with all that you do and that you have achieved over the last few years. You have proved that you are a real tigress and that you are destined for greater heights,” he wrote.
“Your writing skills and power of expression (which of course you learnt from me) are second to none…
“I am so happy that even though we may no longer be together as man and wife, you are still the mother of my boys, a great friend and confidante and an integral and indispensable part of my life.”
He concluded the post with blessings and gratitude for a shared family moment, “Thanks for all Mama Lotana and today’s cutting of the birthday cake together with our sons and the entire household was a beautiful and touching moment that gladdened my heart. You put a smile on all our faces!”
He signed off the tribute with love from himself and their four sons — Aragorn, Ragnar, Aiden and Liam — calling her “Khaleesi” and wishing her peace.
Fani-Kayode and Chikwendu were married in 2014 and have four sons together, including triplets.
However, their relationship crumbled in 2020 amid serious allegations.
Chikwendu accused Fani-Kayode of domestic violence and being denied access to her children. She took her grievances to international bodies including the United Nations and UNICEF.
Fani-Kayode denied the allegations and countered with accusations of infidelity and threats against him and the children. He also questioned the legitimacy of their marriage, claiming traditional rites were not completed.
Despite the rancor, signs of reconciliation began to emerge in 2022 when Chikwendu was allowed access to the children and the pair were seen at public events together.
Still, Chikwendu clarified that there was no romantic reunion, saying their contact was purely for co-parenting.
As of now, the former couple are not romantically involved but appear to have reached a more peaceful understanding as they work together to raise their children.
