Who Are 'Love on the Spectrum' Star David Isaacman's Parents? Meet Mom Debbie and Dad Alan - NewsBreak
Who are Love on the Spectrum star David Isaacman‘s parents? In Touch takes deep dive into the Netflix star’s mom Debbie and dad Alan Isaacman.
David’s father, Alan, is a lawyer with a successful practice. His mom, Debbie, appears to have been a stay-at-home mom for her son and his siblings.
David is part of a set of triplets that include his sisters Aubrey and Alison. As of 2025, he still lived with his siblings, with whom he remains incredibly close.
Alison — who is the oldest by one minute — shared a supportive Instagram post in April 2025 about her brother.
“Happy start of autism acceptance month. Being a triplet and a sibling to an autistic brother have been experiences that have come with their own set of challenges, laughter, growth and love,” she wrote in the caption next to a video featuring photos of the siblings at various stages growing up.
“Cheers to embracing and supporting autistic individuals. Acknowledge the joy, the struggles, and the special bond that make every family/individual’s story unique,” she added.
Alison shared a sweet tribute to Debbie in May 2025, showing a rare photo of the proud mom with her three kids. She wrote in the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day to our amazing mama! Thank you for all you do and for being a super mom x 3 to me, @aubreythetriplet and @david_loveonthespectrum! We love you to infinity and beyond.”
Alan is a lawyer based out of Beverly Hills who famously represented late Hustler publisher Larry Flynt. He was the lead attorney on the 1987 Hustler Magazine vs. Falwell case.
The case went all the way to the United States Supreme Court, which in 1988 sided with the publisher’s First Amendment freedom of speech protection when making a patently offensive statement about a public figure, in this case, a crude parody of televangelist Jerry Falwell.
Alan was depicted by actor Edward Norton in the 1996 film The People vs. Larry Flynt, which profiled the case along with Larry’s other legal battles.
The high-powered legal eagle has also represented celebrity clients including Geraldo Rivera and Kathy Griffin.
While David frequently shares posts about his girlfriend, Abbey Romeo, his parents do not make regular appearances on his page.
The reality star shared a rare photo with his mom and aunt when they took a trip to Los Angeles’ outdoor shopping mall The Grove in March 2024.
“Yesterday my girlfriend Abbey got to meet my Aunt Bev for the first time. We got to hang out with my mom and my sister Alison too. We had a good time at the @thegrovela yesterday and it meant a lot to me,” David wrote in the caption.
David and Abbey fell in love during season 1 of Love on the Spectrum, and fans have watched their romance grow over the following two seasons.
Abbey made viewers’ hearts melt in season 3 when she serenaded David with an original song she wrote and performed for him called “Boyfriend Forever.”
The reality star’s talent was showcased to an even bigger audience when Abbey performed the song on a May 2025 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
