Prue confirmed her departure from the specials on This Morning in March, citing back-to-back filming demands as the reason she won't be partaking in the special episodes. Alison Hammond, Noel Fielding, and Paul Hollywood will remain firm fixtures on the show.

Tommy seems raring to go on Bake Off and shared his official portrait in the Stand Up To Cancer apron on Instagram.

'Ready to cause cake-y chaos, The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off 2025 line-up has just been announced and you might spot a very familiar face,' he wrote.

She explained that she would not be parting ways with the show for good, saying: 'It's absolutely not true at all! [that she's quit the show]. What I'm not doing this year is the celebrity one.'

'These things are filmed back-to-back all the way through summer from April to August so you don't get any time off. I'm getting quite old and there are places I want to see. So I'm not doing this year's.'
