The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the above-listed counties from Noon on Saturday, June 7, until 6:00 p.m. this evening.

The National Weather Service says the biggest risk in these areas are the possibility of "a couple" tornadoes, scattered hail up to the size of a ping pong ball, and wind gusts up to 75 MPH

In the event of a tornado, ensure you have multiple ways of receiving alerts, including via the Tuscaloosa Thread and the Townsquare Media Weather Center.
