BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Many central Alabama areas picked up over three inches of rain Sunday. The flood watch will continue until 7 p.m. Monday.

Some areas could see a few showers Sunday night going into the first part of Monday, but they should taper off as storms move further east.

We’ll be seeing cooler weather at the start of next week, with the high on Monday being in the upper 50s. Areas north and east of Birmingham have a high chance of seeing frost. Temperatures will be back in the 70s by next Sunday.
