Waylands Volvo Reading is the main sponsor of the Binfield 10K 2025, a community road race taking place on 18 May. This not-for-profit event will see 1,000 runners take on a scenic 10K route starting and finishing at Foxley Fields in Binfield, Berkshire.

Now in its 8th year, the Binfield 10K is one of the most popular running events in Berkshire, raising over £70,000 for local charities. Organised by volunteers, this year’s race will support First Days Children’s Charity, alongside other local organisations.

Daryl Best, general manager at Waylands Volvo Reading, said: “We’re honoured to support this incredible community event and excited to showcase our electric Volvo range, including the EX90 and EX30, which symbolise the future of sustainable driving.

“The Binfield 10K is a fantastic example of what local spirit can achieve, and we’re proud to be part of it.”

Waylands Volvo Reading is also contributing a Volvo EX90 to lead the runners while the Volvo EX30 will follow as the tail car. Six members of the Waylands Volvo Reading team will also be running the 10K to raise money for the automotive charity, Ben.

The event is also welcoming volunteers to help with marshalling and more.
