Now that baby Sofia has entered the scene, Alex Drummond's golden retriever, George, has made quite the unexpected switch in hobbies. Once notorious for chasing squirrels around the yard and stealing his dad Mauricio's water bottle, the two-year-old pup now spends his time hunting for something far less wild (but just as elusive): baby pacifiers. That's right, George has taken a curious interest in Sofia's baby gear, particularly her collection of rubber pacifiers. Despite having a basket full of dog toys at his disposal, George seems to think Sofia's pacifiers are the ultimate prize.

"Anyone else's dog OBSESSED with pacis?? It's a problem," Alex joked on her Instagram story, where she shared a video of the hilarious canine caper with her followers. According to Alex, George has become what she calls a "serial paci thief," snatching up pacifiers from any surface he can get his paws on, no matter how many times he's reprimanded for his behavior.

"He just can't help himself," Alex added, laughing as she waved a pink pacifier in front of the camera. True to form, George's eyes locked on the prize, his head tilting with focused determination.

To combat the issue, Alex has tried a multitude of methods, including telling George a firm "No" and placing the pacifiers out of his reach when not in use. "You can't have it, George," she interrupted her silly story to say to George. "Those are your sissy's—you'll choke on them," Alex warned. But despite her best efforts, "The second we turn our back, he will swipe them," she says. Is this a symptom of eldest child syndrome? 😂

At the end of the day, no matter how naughty George is, it's hard to resist his charm. "I still love you," Alex asserted at the end of the video, giving George a tight squeeze and a smooch. As you can see, the arrival of baby Sofia has not only added joy to the Drummond household, but a new kind of adorable mischief, too.
