Opening this August, Hotel Burg is set to become the most polished new stay in Northern Virginia’s wine and hunt country—and it's right in the center of historic Leesburg. With 39 thoughtfully designed rooms, a Michelin-pedigree restaurant, and a private members’ club designed for relaxed sophistication, the boutique hotel is already attracting attention well beyond Loudoun County.

Located on King Street in downtown Leesburg, the property spans three distinct buildings and offers a fresh take on countryside hospitality. Interiors nod to the tailored, heritage-rich style of Ralph Lauren—antique wood furnishings, vintage rugs, and rich textures throughout—while large windows, original artwork by regional artists, and warm lighting give each space a modern, welcoming feel. The eight suites are named after native Virginia trees, like Sugar Maple and Dogwood, and many rooms overlook the town’s historic rooftops or surrounding hills.
“We wanted to create something that feels rooted in place, but elevated,” says owner Kevin Ash. “Every detail, from the design to the food, is meant to connect guests to the rhythm of life in Loudoun County—past and present.”
The hotel’s restaurant, The Huntōn, is one of its biggest draws. Helmed by Virginia native Vincent Badiee—who earned a MICHELIN star as chef de cuisine at Gravitas in Washington, D.C.—the open-fire kitchen turns out refined, rustic dishes that highlight the region’s bounty with seasonal game, foraged herbs, and local produce. The bar program leans local, too, with inventive cocktails and a wine list that focuses on Virginia labels.
Guests can also head upstairs to the rooftop bar, where hotel guests have exclusive access to a sundeck and fire pit, or stop into The Diana Lounge, an intimate cocktail space open to both locals and visitors. Inspired by the Roman goddess of the hunt, the lounge serves bold small plates and handcrafted drinks in a space designed for unhurried evenings.

For travelers who want to make Leesburg a regular escape, the hotel’s members-only club, The Chase, is already open. It offers a contemporary take on the classic social club, with co-working spaces, a speakeasy, infrared sauna, and priority dining access. Members can take part in curated programming rooted in the area’s equestrian and vinicultural heritage, including wine tastings and fieldside polo gatherings.
Just a short drive from the hotel, guests can also access The Manor 1858, a 22-acre countryside estate anchored by a beautifully restored stone barn. The venue is available for weddings, retreats, and private events—and, like the hotel, it brings together historic character and quiet luxury.
