Vietnam - Davon-Dillards-triple-double-lands-him-Hoops-Agents-Player-of-the-Week-award
28-year old American shooting guard Davon Dillard (196-SG-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Saigon Heat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He recorded a triple-double of 24 points adding also 12 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team edged out Dolphins (#2, 4-2) 91-88. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Heat is placed at 4th position in Vietnamese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Heat will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Dillard had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Heat, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Shaw University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dillard is in league's top in points (7th best: 22.9ppg), rebounds (9th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 63.3% FGP. Worth to mention Dillard played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.
Second best performed player last round was Tamyrik Fields (198-G/F-1996, agency: Interperformances) of top-ranked
Hanoi Buffaloes. He is American swingman in his first season at Buffaloes. In the last game Fields recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Buffaloes to another comfortable win outscoring Islanders (#6, 0-6) 94-73. Of course Buffaloes still keep the league's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Buffaloes managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Fields is one of the most experienced players at Buffaloes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.5ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 10.2rpg and 3.2apg.Third place about best performers goes to guard Jaylyn Richardson (189-PG-1998) of league's second-best
Nhatrang Dolphins. Richardson showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Dolphins, leading his team to a 80-70 win against #4 ranked Heat in a game of the week. Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Richardson has a great season in Vietnam. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.8ppg (3rd best) and assists with 5.0apg (6th best).Other top performing players last week:

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
