The legendary journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela has died.

He was the well-known voice behind KBC's Jee Huu Ni Ungwana program, which attracted an enormous national audience.
The renowned media personality was one of the attendees at the much-awaited event hosted by NTV's team, Lofty Matambo and Fridah Mwaka in November 2024.
Two men helped the 84-year-old journalist, dressed in trousers, a black jacket, trainers and a checkered blue shirt, to the event location.
As he arrived at the location, Mbotela was beaming, and Kenyans who watched the video showered the icon with affection.
