Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release Date: Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan's latest Tamil outing is ruling the box office in its own rights. The film released on 6th February has so far earned Rs 120.25 crore globally and is not leaving the theatres anytime soon. However, the OTT update of the actioner has arrived. According to Times Now Tamil, Vidaamuyarchi will be streaming on Netflix from March 7th, 2025.

The same report suggests that about a month later on 14th April, Vidaamuyarchi will have its world television premiere on Sun TV. It's the same date when the media network will celebrate its 32nd establishment day. However, an official announcement about the date is yet to arrive while the platform is confirmed.

Inspired by the 1997 film Breakdown, Vidaamuyarchi follows Arjun (Ajith) and Kayal (Trisha), a couple whose road trip turns into a nightmare when Kayal is kidnapped by strangers. Arjun must race against time to save her. As the film unfolds, it flashes back to show the couple's past and how their love has changed over the years. Along the way, they meet Rakshith (Arjun), Deepika (Regena) and Michael (Arav), who bring danger and force Arjun into a tense chase to uncover the truth.

The Times of India rated the film 2.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, “The film doesn't give the usual euphoria Ajith fans expect from their hero, but offers some enjoyable moments in the last one hour. Vidaamuyarchi might find its space with some niche audience, but a racy screenplay, especially considering the genre and a little more emotional depth, could have made the film dearer to all.”
