A much-changed Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw against West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou made eight changes as he rested key figures for their all-important Europa League semi-final second leg against Bodo/Glimt in Norway on Thursday.

Wilson Odobert put Tottenham ahead, before Jarrod Bowen equalised for the hosts 13 minutes later.

Postecoglou will be thankful that his side did not appear to pick up any fresh injuries ahead of Thursday.

Could have done a bit better for Bowen’s goal, where he allowed the England star to fire between his legs. But then made an outstanding late save from a James Ward-Prowse free-kick.

Dawdled on the ball on occasion, losing the ball as a result. Was caught out of position for the West Ham goal.

A couple of nervy moments, including one or two poor moments of distribution out from the back.

Booked in the first half for clipping Niclas Fullkrug and didn’t get close enough to Bowen in the lead-up to the Hammers’ equaliser.

Cut out a dangerous early cross well. Some promising dribbling out from the back, too.

Not the greatest display from the Senegalese, who came into the team for the rested Rodrigo Bentancur. Narrowly missed a late chance from range.

Has not looked anything like at his best since returning from injury. Tried to make things happen but too often ran the ball into trouble.

Needs the minutes in his legs and was Tottenham’s best midfielder on the day with a number of important interceptions.

Netted Tottenham’s goal with a confidently-struck finish. Combined well with Richarlison.

No lack of effort. His dummy for Tottenham’s opener displayed good reading of the game, and he was constantly occupying two West Ham defenders. Occasionally dropped into midfield to collect the ball. Missed one good chance.

Missed a few decent chances, including a direct free-kick in the first half, but assisted the goal and was Tottenham’s brightest attacker.
