Toronto Raptors sign Brandon Ingram to massive three-year extension | Flashscore.com
The Toronto Raptors signed forward Brandon Ingram (27) to a three-year extension worth $120 million, according to his agent.
The deal comes after Ingram was traded to Toronto as part of a deal that sent guard Bruce Brown and center Kelly Olynyk to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Raptors are currently 13th in the Western Conference with a 16-37 record, leaving no hope at all for a playoff appearance this season.
Ingram is set to return to action following the All-Star break after dealing with an ankle injury that has sidelined him since early December.
In just 18 games this season, Ingram is averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.
The former All-Star and Most Improved Player spent his first three years in the league with the Los Angeles Lakers after they took him second overall in the 2016 NBA Draft.
He spent the next six years with the Pelicans where he averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
