The international tourism road show “Choose Greece” and the 3rd organization of the extremely successful “Messinia Forum”, which focuses on the tourism development of Messinia, are taking place in the coming weeks under the auspices of the Greek National Tourist Organization.

Choose Greece RoadShow 2025: International promotion of Greek tourism

Choose Greece RoadShow 2025 aims to dynamically promote the Greek tourism product in European markets and will develop until November in seven cities on the continent. During the events entitled “Be Greek for a day”, representatives of Greek regions, hotels, and tourist offices hold professional B2B meetings with Tour Operators of the local market, promoting tourist packages and the comparative advantages of Greek destinations. The action began on February 20 in Munich and continued on March 26 in Bucharest, while the next events are scheduled in Naples (May 8), Belgrade (May 15), Katowice (November 12), Warsaw (November 13), and Stockholm (November 27).

Messinia Forum 2024: Promoting the tourist identity of Messinia

The 3rd Messinia Forum will be held from April 4 to 6 at the Kalamata Dance Hall, focusing on the business dynamics, cultural identity, and tourism development of Messinia. The three-day event will discuss topics such as sustainable entrepreneurship, tourism promotion, exports, agrotourism, and intangible cultural heritage. More than 60 speakers from Greece and abroad are participating, including famous chefs, entrepreneurs, representatives of organizations, and technocrats from the tourism industry.

Within the framework of the Messinia Forum, gastronomic events will be held with the presence of famous chefs, live cooking, wine, beer, honey, and spirits tastings, as well as actions to highlight local products. The event is an important initiative to promote the gastronomic identity of Messinia, connecting local production with tourism and strengthening the brand of the region as a gastronomic destination.
