The No. 23 ranked Colorado College women's basketball team downed the University of the Ozarks 62-55 in Clarksville, Arkansas, for their 21st win. The victory marks the winningest season in program history, bringing their record to 21-2 overall and 13-1 in the SCAC.

30 points from senior Zoë Tomlinson and 40 minutes from junior Avery Johnson propelled the Tigers over the Eagles. CC sits atop the SCAC's Blue Division and is on a 10-game winning streak, the first since the 1976-77 season.

"I'd like to take a moment to recognize those in our basketball family across the years who have given their time, energy, and belief to this program," Head coach Katherine Auguste said. "The athletic trainers, strength coaches, academic advisors, parents, friends, professors, other coaches in the department, and dedicated athletic administrators who have helped us take steps forward… please know what a difference you all have made. Thank you."

"Certainly our most sincere gratitude and recognition goes to the hundreds of players who have dedicated themselves to the game of basketball and their teammates while wearing a CC uniform since the program began in 1975," Auguste said. "To every student-athlete who helped shape the foundation of this program that we continue to steward: thank you. We recognize and celebrate your contributions as we continue to grow. We wouldn't have the opportunities that we have now without you all!"

Tomlinson finished with 15 rebounds, an assist, two blocks, and two steals. The New York native has three 30-point performances this season and now has 22 double-doubles, the third-most in the country this year.

Tomlinson got things going for the Tigers early in the first quarter, and CC maintained a lead the entire time. CC collected 15 rebounds to the Eagles' seven and held them to a 20 percent field goal percentage in the opening 10 minutes.

The Tigers also maintained their lead throughout the second quarter, increasing their field goal percentage and building it to as many as nine points.

Johnson and Kyle Rowland made two three-pointers in the quarter as CC entered the locker room with a 31-23 lead.

The Eagles scored 14 points to the Tigers' 10 in the third quarter, but CC still maintained the lead. The Tigers' shooting percentage dropped to 21.4 percent, while the Eagles improved to 46.2 percent. The Ozarks also out-rebounded the Tigers defensively, collecting nine to CC's six. The Eagles cut the lead to four points heading into the final quarter.

CC sealed the game from the charity stripe in the fourth quarter, converting 13 of 14 attempts from the free-throw line. Ozarks didn't attempt a free throw in the fourth and made only six the entire game.

Senior Laura Strenk, Tomlinson and Johnson made six free throws in the final 30 seconds to keep a lead and cruise to the eventual 62-55 victory.

Strenk finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds for her second career double. Kayle Mackel added six points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

CC will close out the regular season next weekend against Schreiner and Trinity (TX), starting with the Mountaineers on Friday at 5:30 pm at Reid Arena.

"To this year's team – keep working, keep building, keep believing," Auguste said. "Continue to push toward new levels while having a great time together and representing Colorado College to the best of our ability. Seeing how this group works and loves one another is truly a privilege. It translates to the court and into an exciting style of basketball, and we are not done yet! I know I speak for the whole group when I say that we are looking ahead with excitement and eager to keep competing at a high level in the coming weeks."
