1908: Jerry Frank, who played a Rankin henchman in the season two serial THE PHANTOM CREEPS.

1909: Robert Carson, who played Tom in the movie in episode 520- RADAR SECRET SERVICE and Chip’s father in the movie in episode 601- GIRLS TOWN.

1911: Howard Lydecker, who did the special effects for the season one serial RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON and the season four serial UNDERSEA KINGDOM.

1912: Henry Brandon, who played Rinkman in the movie in episode 413- MANHUNT IN SPACE and played Zarz in the movie in episode 1111- WIZARDS OF THE LOST KINGDOM II.

2013: Don Barton (age 83), director, writer and producer for the movie in episode 1005- THE BLOOD WATERS OF DR. Z.

1917: George Wallace, who played Commando Cody in RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON.

1920: Don Kennedy, who played a reporter in WORLD WITHOUT END, riffed in MST3K’s first live show.*

1921: Gordon McLendon, executive producer for the movie 407- THE KILLER SHREWS, in which he also played Dr. Radford Baines. McLendon also produced (and was the narrator for) the movie in episode 402- THE GIANT GILA MONSTER.

1923: Myron Healey, who played Mark Houston in the movie in episode 320- THE UNEARTHLY and General Perry in the movie in episode 704- THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN.

1923: George Kirby, who was mentioned in a host segment in episode 409- THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN.

1923: Peggy Maley, who played Francine in the movie in episode 409- THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN.

1925: Barbara Bush, who was mentioned in a host segment in episode 903- The PUMAMAN.

1932: Maurice Good, who played an agent in the movie in episode 905- THE DEADLY BEES.

1947: Julie Driscoll, who sang the title song in the movie in episode 111- MOON ZERO TWO.*


1954: Maurice Cass (age 69), who played Prof. Newton in episodes 413- MANHUNT IN SPACE and 417- CRASH OF MOONS.

1971: Piero Gherardi (age 61), who did the costumes and was art director for the movie in episode 1013- DIABOLIK.

1979: Louis Palange (age 61), musical score composer for the movie in episode 210- KING DINOSAUR.

1988: Chuck Roberson (age 69), who played Deputy Chuck in the movie in episode 611- LAST OF THE WILD HORSES.

1994: William Marshall (age 76), director of the movie in episode 902- THE PHANTOM PLANET. He also wrote some addition dialog for the movie.

2003: Herschel Burke Gilbert (age 85), musical score composer for the movie in episode 109- PROJECT MOON BASE.

2005: Ed Bishop (age 72), who was the voice of Captain Blue in the TV series “Captain Scarlet,” episodes of which were compiled into a video seen in episode K02- REVENGE OF THE MYSTERONS FROM MARS.

2006: Robert Donner (age 75), who played Fingers O’Toole in the movie in episode 204- CATALINA CAPER and the morgue attendant in the movie in episode 815- AGENT FOR H.A.R.M.

2014: Dennis C. Lewiston (age 80), a camera operator for the movie in episode K09- PHASE IV.

2020: Fabrizio Mioni (age 89), who played Jason in the movies in episodes 502- HERCULES and 408- HERCULES UNCHAINED.


1991: Episode 302- GAMERA first shown.


1959: Paul Anka’s hit song “Lonely Boy,” which he sang in the movie in episode 601- GIRLS TOWN, enters Billboard’s Top 40 and soon began four weeks at No. 1. Anka played Jimmy Parlow in the movie.

1962: The movie in episode 506- EEGAH premieres in the U.S.A.
