'The only pollster fixated on the opposition party' - Miracles Aboagye takes on Mussa Dankwa
Dennis Miracles Aboagye (L) and Mussa Dankwa (R)
A former Director of Communications for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2024 presidential campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has launched a scathing attack on Mussa Dankwa, a pollster at Global Info Analytics, over the credibility and perceived bias of his political polls.
According to Aboagye, Dankwa’s political party polls are largely biased and appear designed to favour a particular side of Ghana’s political spectrum.
He, like many other Ghanaians, believes that Dankwa’s surveys often favour the National Democratic Congress (NDC), suggesting that the results may lack objectivity and neutrality.
In a strong post on his Facebook page on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Aboagye wrote, “I won’t stop calling out your skewed polls. I am part of some 6million others who are quite convinced you are biased towards the NDC. Summarily, a tool deployed by the then opposition party to do a hatchet job against the government then.”
“The only pollster in the world that’s currently fixated on the opposition party. You can call me whatever you want, it doesn’t change the fact that you are no genuine pollster. The fact that you predicted one election doesn’t change anything. Lotto Doctors win lotto sometimes, doesn’t change the ajana 1 ajana 2 approach. Your biases, skewed polls and analysis are so glaring in your reports. I am not fooled by them,” he added.
Miracles Aboagye further questioned the credibility of Dankwa’s polling methods, criticising a particular poll that, according to him, indicated public support for the removal of the suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
This specific poll was referenced by Deputy Attorney-General Justice Srem-Sai, amidst public discourse surrounding Chief Justice Torkornoo's suspension, though he cautioned against jumping to conclusions based solely on the poll.
Aboagye maintained that his perception of Dankwa as working in favour of the ruling government remains unchanged, asserting that the pollster’s surveys lack credibility.
“The day I laughed at you the most, was the day you attempted to put out a poll that supported the illegal removal of a chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana. For now, enjoy the moment and call me whatever you want. In fact, next time, I expect you to put my name in your polls as one of the people who made NPP lose elections from 2008. It won’t change my convinced position on you. You are a simply a hatchet guy and nothing less,” the post said.
Global Info Analytics, led by Mussa Dankwah, has previously published polls that have successfully predicted election outcomes, including the 2020 presidential election.
However, they have frequently faced accusations of bias from various political factions.
