Chebukati's widow Mary Wanyonyi invited Nakhumicha to the dais to say that she was like a daughter to her.
Mary talked about the effects of social media and one positive thing to come out of social media was Nakhumicha.
She thanked the former CS for being supportive of their family, especially during her husband's illness.
The widow revealed that President William Ruto played a part in her husband's treatment in Germany.
"As my social media daughter, please say something," Mary said.
Nakhumicha also showered Mary and Chebukati for their love and support. She shared a light moment with mourners.

The former CS said that the late chairman had taught her something. She quipped that she never knew Bukusu men were romantic.
She referenced Chebukati's photos with his wife that are in the eulogy. Nakhumicha said that it painted the picture of love.
Nakhumicha said that she asked her husband to emulate that. She talked about his passing and she'd want such a show of love on her tribute.
"Also, I want to thank this chairman; he has taught me things I did not know—turns out Bukusu men can be romantic. When you see the pictures in this book, you realize that Bukusu men can actually be romantic.
This morning, I told my husband that tomorrow is not promised, I could die at any moment, so we should try and take pictures together so that when that day comes, he will have a photo to post as an update to show that we were a family."
During the same event, the former CS recalled how she learnt about her sacking on TV.
The controversial Finance Bill, of 2024, sparked widespread protests spearheaded by Generation Z, which coincided with the mass firing.
With the exception of Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi, Ruto dissolved the entire Cabinet and appointed new members, including opposition leaders.
She disclosed that she was caught off guard when she discovered she had been fired while watching live television.
Nakhumicha compared the previous administrations' sackings and the modern-day one that affected her.
She claimed that after being fired, she withdrew to her backyard in Cheranganyi, where she currently grows and sells cabbages.
In another story, the wife of the late chairman Mary revealed that her late husband loved to purchase expensive items for her while travelling abroad.
She painfully stated that she would no longer get the treatment from her partner anymore but would cherish the moments they had together.
His daughter also gave a touching tribute saying that the only regret his kids had was that he did not get to see his grandkids.
