Last summer, Sevilla signed Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke for free. Then, in the winter transfer window in January, they acquired the services of Akor Adams from French Ligue 1 club Montpellier.

However, they all failed to deliver the goods last season. Iheanacho and Ejuke failed to find their feet, while Adams' stay was blighted with injuries.

Iheanacho spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Championship club Middlesbrough.

But they decided against signing him permanently as he failed to impress. He is now back at Sevilla, and it seems like his time at the club will end this summer, as the former sporting director Victor Orta admitted earlier last season that signing him was a mistake.

Meanwhile, Ejuke could also be on the move. Last season, he struggled to make an impact, butting in with just two goals and one assist in 25 appearances. Even Ruben Vargas who was brought in in January had a bigger impact on the team.

According to a new report by Voetbal Primeur, some unnamed clubs from Belgium are interested in signing from Sevilla. But it is unconfirmed if Los Palanganas would be willing to sell just yet.

In April, Sevilla sacked coach Garcia Pimienta and employed Joaquin Caparros. And with his appointment, Ejuke's game time dropped significantly.

Hence, the Super Eagles star is not sure of a place on the team. Since Sevilla do not have the financial muscle, they tend to sell players who are not important to the team.

As such, they may have to sell Ejuke this summer. The Super Eagles star is valued at €4 million on Transfermarkt, which is a decent fee for most Belgian clubs.

At the end of the summer, Akor Adams could be the only Super Eagles player left at Sevilla.
