The Kevin Durant sweepstakes have officially heated up. Three teams have revealed their exact package, with many more showing interest.

Almost every team would benefit from the 36-year-old superstar, but only a few teams are in a position to bring him in.

Over the past couple of weeks, the legit trade contenders boiled down to just a few, but don’t be surprised if one team jumps in and takes him away just to get rid of him.

The Los Angeles Clippers are one team to watch out for, holding the value of injury-prone Kawhi Leonard in their back pockets.

A simple swap of Leonard and Durant is completely in play.

The Clippers could be in the market for the solidified superstar, as they are very much in the compete-now mode.

Kawhi could be the secondary superstar that Devin Booker needs, as he has proved his ability to play off the ball. Durant is much of the opposite.

This would leave James Harden and Durant teamed up together for the third time, with the hope of bringing the Clippers their first ever championship.

It is safe to say that both teams fell short of their goal, but one more than the other.

While the Clippers made the playoffs as the fifth seed and were eliminated in the first round by the Denver Nuggets, the Phoenix Suns couldn’t even make the playoffs.
