--- July 4th is looking absolutely stunning in Maine with low humidity, sunny skies, and warm temperatures. Heat and humidity will then build through the weekend and into early next week.

July 4th will be beautiful. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s with sunny skies, low humidity, and a northwesterly breeze.

By fireworks time, we will be cool and comfortable with temperatures falling into the 60s. With such dry air in place, it may almost feel chilly.

Low humidity levels will carry on into Saturday. We'll have a cool start in the 50s during the morning, with highs reaching the low to mid 80s for the afternoon. Skies will remain mostly sunny.

Heat and humidity will crank up for Sunday. Highs will range from around 90 along the coast to the low to mid 90s inland. Feels like temps will approach 100 with plenty of sun.

Heat and very high humidity will continue into Monday. Highs will range from near 90 along the coast to the mid 90s inland. An afternoon shower or storm inland can't be ruled out.

Heat levels will drop a bit for Tuesday, but humidity will remain high. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with partly sunny skies and the chance for an afternoon shower or storm.

Temperatures look closer to normal, the upper 70s and low 80s, by mid to late week. Rain chances look to increase into Thursday.
