With an estimated 30,000 customers walking into its stores every day and a conversion rate of 35%, it could be a repeat in 2025-26.

An overwhelming 97.53% of the shareholders of Religare Enterprises (REL) rejected the reappointment of Rashmi Saluja as director in the company in an annual general meeting (AGM). The e-voting for her reappointment, along with other resolutions, had started on Wednesday. Saluja, who was supposed to retire by rotation, had offered herself for reappointment.
In a setback to the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA), the Delhi High Court quashed 11 show-cause notices issued by the authority against the auditors of IL&FS and DHFL on technical grounds. The court ruled that NFRA did not act through properly constituted divisions as mandated under the Companies Act.

Delhivery reported a 113% rise in its December quarter net profit at Rs 24.9 crore from Rs 11.7 crore in the year-ago period. However, it was below the street estimates of Rs 66 crore. The company’s revenue from operations rose 8.4% year-on-year to Rs 2,378.2 crore from Rs 2,194.4 crore earlier. It was marginally below the Bloomberg consensus of Rs 2,422 crore.
Britannia will counter inflation in the ongoing (March) quarter with price hikes at double the rate of increases taken in the December quarter, said Varun Berry, executive vice-chairman & MD, in an earnings call on Friday. Berry also said that the company would pause capex for FY26, capping it at around Rs 150-200 crore. It has spent about Rs 500-600 crore annually for the last few years on capex.
Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth approximately Rs 8,000 crore from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (Mahagenco). The LoA is for a 2×660 MW BTG package of Koradi Thermal Power Station, the company said in an exchange filing. The BTG package includes supply of equipment, erection and commissioning and civil works. The project will be completed by 52 and 58 months from the date of LoA for Unit-11 & Unit-12, respectively.
Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured three separate orders collectively worth Rs 1,604 crore, said the Ministry of Defence. BEL signed a contract valued at Rs 610 crore for the supply of an electro-optic fire control system (EOFCS) for the Indian Navy. Additionally, BEL has secured another order valued at Rs 352 crore which includes an anti-drone system, integrated fire detection vessel communication
Cipla’s manufacturing facility in Bengaluru’s Virgonagar has received a Voluntary Action Indicated status from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), as per an exchange filing.
Western Carriers (India) said it has bagged a Rs 1,089 crore contract from Vedanta. The four-year agreement, spanning until 2028, involves transporting aluminium products, pig iron, and export-import cargo from mining manor Vedanta’s Jharsuguda (Odisha) facilities to domestic hubs and international ports, the company said.
