Stick Cast & Character Guide: Who Else Stars In Apple TV+'s Golf Comedy

Published 1 day ago5 minute read

Apple TV+'s new golf comedy is led by acclaimed comedian Owen Wilson, but it also has a deeply talented cast beyond him. Apple TV+'s Stick has already been compared to its other sports comedy series, Ted Lasso, for good reason. Stick follows Pryce Cahill (Owen Wilson), a washed-up golf star who takes a chance on training a young prodigy of the sport, Santi (Peter Dager). As they travel the country together, playing in tournaments, the two grow quite close, and they begin to help each other heal from their past traumas.

Though Owen Wilson is best known for his comedy movies, he recently started starring in more TV shows. After starring as Agent Mobius in Loki, Wilson made his first fully original TV show in Apple TV+'s Stick. Owen Wilson may be the biggest name associated with Stick, and he does lead the show, but the golf comedy also has a large supporting cast behind him. With their help, Owen Wilson could make Stick one of the best shows on Apple TV+.

: Owen Wilson was born in Dallas, Texas. . Wilson had previously starred in the 1993 short of the same name, which was his first acting credit. Since then, Wilson has had an exceptionally prolific acting career. He's continued to be a recurring figure in Wes Anderson's films, but he's also been known for his own comedy career in films like Wedding Crashers and Midnight in Paris. More recently, Wilson gained newfound dramatic fame in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Loki, where he played Mobius.
