Epsom Derby start time, horses and previous winners
The 2025 Derby takes place on Saturday, 7 June at 15:30 BST at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey.
The Derby, first run in 1780, is Britain's richest flat horse race and has a total purse of £1.5m.
The one-and-a-half mile race is open to three-year-old horses only and in the last two years, Ryan Moore has been the winning jockey for 10-time Derby winning trainer Aidan O'Brien.

Because of the age restrictions in the race, horses can only win the Derby once.
Early favourite Delacroix will be ridden by Moore as one of three O'Brien trained horses in the Derby.
The Derby is the standout race of Epsom's Derby weekend, lasting two days.
Friday's Ladies' Day is the opening day of the meeting and includes both the Coronation Cup and the Oaks.

The draw to decide which horse starts in each stall for Saturday's Derby took place on Wednesday morning. A total of 19 runners have been declared for the race.
The only withdrawal at Wednesday's final declaration ahead of the race was Puppet Master, also trained by O'Brien.

Of the 58 Derby-winning horses since the introduction of starting stalls in 1967, 11 of them have come from stall 10. This year's race will see the lesser-fancied of O'Brien's starting trio Lambourn start in that position.
Stalls two, 11, 16 and 20 have never produced a Derby winner.

Of O'Brien's 10 Derby-winning triumphs, eight of them have come since 2010.
Jockey Moore, a four-time Derby winner, has recorded all of his triumphs in the past 15 years.
