Fans of Andor will only be able to watch the series in one place from July 3, 2025. While the series originally launched on both Disney+ and Hulu, fans who have been watching the series via the latter of these are going to have limited time left to watch both seasons before they are stripped from the service.
Disney+ has been the home of Star Wars and the MCU since its launch back in 2019, but with Hulu being Disney-owned, there have been many shows and movies straddling both platforms in the U.S. Although there have been frequent suggestions that Disney is looking to wrap up Hulu and bring everything under one roof on Disney+, fans have not noticed too many changes until recently.
Now, the decision to make Andor only available on Disney+ seems to be a sign that fans will soon have to start rethinking their subscription options if they want to remain in the loop on some of the biggest Disney content. Of course, there are several multi-platform pricing options out there at the moment that give viewers access to Hulu, Disney+, ESPN and more, and several other streaming giants such as HBO Max have previously discussed or made deals as part of joint packaging options to reduce costs and boost subscriber numbers.

Tony Gilroy has been working in the 'Star Wars' universe for a decade between his involvement in 'Rogue One' and 'Andor.'
Although it is normal to assume that most people who wanted to watch Andor would have done so by now, the show continues to be popular as a rewatch option. However, it seems that in the future, if you have not subscribed to Disney+, or purchased a DVD or Blu-ray copy, then you are going to be hard-pressed to find it streaming anywhere else.

Although the Star Wars franchise looks to be finally exploring some new areas in the coming years, with several movies set to leave behind the Skywalker saga and introduce a new wave of characters, stories, and time periods to the franchise, Andor was previously the one entry in the Star Wars Universe that told a very different kind of story to anything that came before it.
The road to Andor was obviously opened up by Rogue One in 2016, but even Gareth Edwards’ movie was not as dark, gritty, and impressive as the prequel story that followed it. Setting a story of espionage, intrigue, and oppression in a world usually dominated by flashy lightsaber battles and fantastical creatures was a punt that could have gone very wrong, but Tony Gilroy managed to make Andor the story the Star Wars saga needed to prove that sometimes doing something unexpected is better than following the same old formula.
Fans can stream Andor on Hulu until July 3, when it will then become a Disney+ exclusive.
