It’s also worth noting that these remasters won’t have any co-op support. I’m mentioning this because there is a Co-Op Mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat. So, it’s kind of a bummer that the devs have not added such a feature to these older STALKER games.

All in all, I was kind of expecting something a bit more from these remasters. If you’ve never played a modded version of STALKER, these remasters will appear great to you. But for those who have played heavily modded versions of the older STALKER games, this feels like a nothing-burger.

Let’s at least hope that the trilogy will come out in a polished state. Otherwise, it will be a nightmare to fix it as the team should be busy right now with STALKER 2. In May or June, we might get a new patch for STALKER 2 to improve its A-Life 2.0 system. This will be 6-7 months after the game’s launch.

The devs have also shared the official PC requirements for this trilogy. PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-7100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X with 8GB and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX960 or AMD Radeon RX 560. With this kind of PC system, you’ll be able to run these remasters at 1080p/Low Settings with 60FPS.

For gaming at 1080p/Max Settings with 60FPS, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580.
