Sri Venkateswara Creations to release L2 in Telugu States on March 27th
L2: Empuraan, the action thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, stars Mohanlal in the lead. Written by Murali Gopy and jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Sree Gokulam Movies, and Lyca Productions, this sequel to Lucifer also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Abhimanyu Singh, Jerome Flynn, Eriq Ebouaney, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
The news is that Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations is going to bring out the action thriller in Telugu. "We are proud to announce our association with Mr. Dil Raju and SVC Release as our distribution partner for Andhra/Telangana," Mohanlal wrote on social media.
The film is hitting theatres worldwide on March 27th.
Director Prithviraj today revealed that Rajinikanth was the first person to watch the film's Trailer. "The very first person to watch the trailer of L2E. I will forever cherish what you said after watching it Sir! This meant the world to me! Fanboy forever! (sic)," the actor-director, who is currently also doing Mahesh Babu's movie with Rajamouli, wrote on social media.
Besides L2, Mohanlal is doing two other big movies these days: Vrusshabha and Drishyam 3. The former was shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. Its budget is said to be colossal. Vrusshabha will be a Diwali release.
