Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3, has left his fans disappointed, as they can't imagine any other actor taking up the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, in the sequel. Even actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is sharing the same screen space with Paresh Rawal in her upcoming film, Nikita Roy, can't picture Hera Pheri 3 without the veteran actor. Here's what she said.

Sonakshi Sinha, in an interview with IANS, said that she can't imagine Hera Pheri 3 without Paresh Rawal. She also said that his presence was important to preserve the charm of the franchise.

Sonakshi also called her working experience with Paresh Rawal, "fantastic".

She added, "I think it was such an honor for me to share screen space with an actor of his calibre. And, you know, in terms of his body of work and how amazing he is, it was an amazing experience for me."

After Paresh's exit from Hera Pheri 3, Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films, served a legal notice to the actor, claiming damages of Rs 25 crore. They alleged that Rawal accepted a Rs 11 lakh signing amount, and later walked out of the film after the shooting began.

Paresh Rawal had later returned his signing amount with interest.

His lawyers had also issued a statement regarding his exit. They had told IANS, "Admittedly, they did not deliver the story, screenplay and also a draft of a long form agreement which was fundamental to the engagement of our client. In the absence of these and also since Mr. Nadiadwala, the producer of the original films, issued notice to our client and raised issues on the making of the film, our client chose to exit and returned the money with interest by terminating the Term sheet."

Nikita Roy is a supernatural thriller, where Sonakshi is playing the lead rold of an investigator, who exposes the dark side of Amar Dev (Paresh Rawal), a powerful and mysterious spiritual healer. The film also stars Arjun Rampal. Sonakshi's brother Kussh S Sinha is making his directorial debut with the film.

Nikita Roy is all set to hit theatres on June 27, with Kajol's Maa.
